Alexandra Amick is a Los Angeles based film and television editor. In her over a decade in the industry she has edited for major studios such as Hulu and Disney as well as indie productions.
She began editing in her home town of New Orleans and later graduated from the Florida State University College of Motion Picture Arts.
As an editor, she approaches her projects from a “story first” perspective and believes in fostering a deep, collaborative relationship with her directors.
Her most recent projects include the Hulu horror film Clock, the Disney+ special Muppets Haunted Mansion, and Lovely, Dark, and Deep.
In addition to editing, she is an adjunct professor at AMDA College of Performing Arts and has guest lectured at Florida State University and Champlain College.
